Trust & Safety Connect is hosted and attended by the Internet Dating Excellence Association (IDEA) and Online Social Community Association (OSCA). This is a 1.5 hour long event that is by-invite-only and will take place on Wednesday 17th August starting at 11:30am EST (New York time). The event starts with a half-hour of peer networking followed by a 50 minute panel, and then an additional short networking session.

Norman Petty joined The Meet Group in March 2021 and is General Counsel. He leads the trust and safety team which is responsible for ensuring the safety of millions of active users across The Meet Group properties and on vPaaS partner apps. Â
Prior to joining The Meet Group, Norman spent the last 25 years as SVP and Associate General Counsel at The Wall Street Journal / Dow Jones. Â

She has a passion for culture, tech and heritage and has a PhD in Cultural Heritage with a significant background in research and analysis.
She has also worked extensively in filming and events at historic properties, arts & cultural programming, activity & interpretation planning, and development & fundraising.
Neil has been an innovator in television and digital media since 1981.
He worked as SVP of AOL from 1995-2001 and originally joined MyLife (then Reunion.com) in 2005.

Mark runs Courtland Brooks, an agency-consultancy focusing on strategy, marketing and bus dev for Internet dating and online social communities. He's served POF, Meet Group, and 120+ companies since 2005. Prior to this, he worked with Friendster and ran an adventure club in Silicon Valley. Mark has been quoted in press 288 times (18 times in WSJ).Â
He heads IDEA.gp (since 2007) & OSCA.gp, hosts LTR, and the executive news summary services Online Personals Watch (since 2004) and Very Social Network (since 2006). He also owns Matchmaker.com.
